Weight Pulls

Weight pulls are held at the Allerton Park Estate ( Map) between the beginning of October and the end of April.The pulls are open to all northern breeds.

Pulls are held under the Allerton Park Weight Pull Rules which were approved by the Working Dog Committee of AMCA on 18 June 2008.

A championship is also held and trophies are awarded for highest percentage; most weight pulled; most weight pulled by opposite sex; and, 1st to 3rd in each class.

    • Each weight pull event will be reviewed in the light of the latest government regulations and guidelines and may be cancelled at short notice. Please note - no food or drink will be available at events that go ahead.
